Penguins and 84 Lumber Announce Plans for Military Appreciation Game on November 11

For the fifth-consecutive season, 84 Lumber has been named the presenting partner of the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Military Appreciation Game, which will take place on Monday, November 11 at 7:00 PM against the Dallas Stars. Penguins Honor Peters Township High School Graduate with 2024 Bob Johnson Memorial Scholarship

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation awarded the 2024 Bob Johnson Memorial Scholarship to Peters Township High School graduate Joseph Wateska. The scholarship, valued at $5,000, is co-sponsored by the Pittsburgh Penguins Booster Club. The Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Association awarded its 19TH annual scholarship to Chartiers Valley High School graduate Luke Hinds.  The $5,000 scholarship is co-sponsored by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. The Alumni scholarship program was created in 2005 and is presented annually to a Western Pennsylvania high school senior for academic excellence and for providing leadership, sportsmanship and Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Association Honors Chartiers Valley High School Graduate with Scholarship

Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation Awards Scholarships to 10 Local High School Grads for 2023.24

The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation (PPF) have selected 10 high school graduates to honor with 2024 Penguins Foundation Scholarships.  The program includes all Pittsburgh Public Schools and Allegheny County. This year, PPF supported six different scholarship programs, awarding $109,000 to 37 Pittsburgh-area students.  This includes 27 first-year awards plus 10 of the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation Awards Scholarships to 10 Local High School Grads for 2023.24
