22 Pennsylvania Counties Participate in STEAM Lending Library

In 2015, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation partnered with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3 (AIU3) to launch a first-of-its-kind STEAM Lending Library, giving Allegheny County school districts access to cutting-edge educational technology. After completing training at the AIU3, teachers can borrow these tools to introduce students to STEAM learning. Penguins Foundation and Carnegie Science Center Highlight “Science of Hockey” School Assembly Program

The Penguins Foundation is proud to support Science of Hockey, a dynamic school assembly program developed in partnership with the Carnegie Science Center and PPG. Protecting Young Athletes: HeadsUP Pittsburgh Returns This Summer

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and UPMC Sports Medicine are once again joining forces to offer HeadsUP Pittsburgh—a long-running concussion awareness and baseline testing program designed for young athletes across Western Pennsylvania. This year’s testing offers free neurocognitive baseline testing on a first-come, first-served basis to 2,000 athletes ages 5 and up.
