CNX Resources Corporation (NYSE: CNX) is teaming up with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation to donate and construct a playground at Northmoreland Park in partnership with the Westmoreland County Board of Commissioners and Westmoreland County Bureau of Parks and Recreation.
The $60,000 donation, part of CNX’s annual Month of Giving, will cover the majority cost of the playground at this important community asset, ensuring children and generations to come have a place to gather and stay active.
The Pittsburgh Penguins Wives Association will host its 17th annual Holiday Basket Online Auction, starting at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 7 and continuing through Tuesday, December 19. Each holiday basket is decorated and filled with items unique to a Penguins player. Fans may see (and bid on) the baskets at pensbasket.gesture.com or by texting PENSBASKET to 52182.
Proceeds from this year’s auction will benefit the “Blessings in a Backpack” program at Trinity North Elementary School in Washington, Pa. The program provides nutritious food items for underprivileged children on days when school meals are not available.
Fans may bid on the holiday baskets until noon on December 19. Once the auction concludes, the gift baskets will begin shipping within five business days.
