Penguins Charity Game on AT&T SportsNet Returns March 7

On Saturday, March 7, the annual Penguins Charity Game on AT&T SportsNet returns for the 9th straight season to support the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and Mario Lemieux Foundation. To date, Penguins Charity Game has raised $12 million for the two charities.

For one game only, a total of 8,100 Penguins Charity Bags stuffed with memorabilia and more will go on sale online and at PPG Paints Arena starting at 11:45AM. The Penguins take on the Washington Capitals at 1PM.

Pens Foundation and EMBRACE Pittsburgh To Hold ‘Break the Ice Night’

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and EMBRACE Pittsburgh will co-host the first-ever “Break the Ice Night” when the Penguins face the Florida Panthers on Sunday, January 5 at PPG Paints Arena (5:00PM ET). The event is part of the NHL’s “Hockey Talks” initiative.

“Break the Ice Night” will highlight the efforts of EMBRACE Pittsburgh, a city-wide movement focused on championing mental strength throughout the region.

Penguins Wives Association to Host Holiday Basket Auction

The Pittsburgh Penguins Wives Association will host its 14th annual Holiday Basket Auction, starting at 5 pm on Tuesday, December 10 and continuing through Saturday, December 14. Each holiday basket is unique and filled with favorite items from each Penguins player.

Fans may bid on the baskets at pensbasket.givesmart.com. Baskets will also be on display at the Penguins home games on December 10, 12 and 14 behind the KeyBank Club (near Section 104).

Proceeds from this year’s auction will benefit Pennies from Heaven, a local nonprofit organization that helps to ease financial hardships for parents with children admitted to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
