Penguins Foundation Announces New Website Launch and Tag Line

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation launched a new and improved website today available at www.pittsburghpenguinsfoundation.org. The revamped website also comes with an updated tag line, “Kids Are The Future.”

The new, user-friendly website allows visitors to navigate from the homepage through three pillars of the Penguins Foundation: “Play,” “Grow,” and “Help.” These pillars provide a reference guide for site visitors to learn more about how the Penguins Foundation impacts those in our region through youth hockey and health initiatives (Play), educational programming (Grow) and fundraising and community support endeavors (Help). In addition, the “What’s Happening” section found on the homepage makes it easy for visitors to stay updated with news, promotions and signature events happening now.

The visually-appealing and mobile-friendly website offers a clean design, while integrating the “Pittsburgh Gold” color scheme adopted by the Pittsburgh Penguins for the 2016-17 season, which marks the 50th Anniversary of the organization. The “Pittsburgh Gold” style, reminiscent of the Stanley Cup Championship teams from the 1990s, was most recently worn by the Penguins at home games held at CONSOL Energy Center during the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

“I am thrilled to launch our new website,” said Dave Soltesz, President of the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. “This change allows us to showcase the unbelievable work of the Penguins Foundation and share our mission in a new and exciting way. I hope this site helps us build an even stronger identity in the community and reiterates our commitment that kids are the future.”
