The Milk Shake Factory and Jake Guentzel Team Up to Provide Free Pittsburgh Penguins Chocolate to UPMC Nurses on National Nurses Day

The Milk Shake Factory and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel have teamed up to provide sweet treats to local nurses at UPMC today, on National Nurses Day.

The Milk Shake Factory delivered 59 items of Penguins® chocolates to both UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital and UPMC Passavant earlier today. Jake, of course, wears no. 59! The donation includes Penguins® Milk Chocolate Pucks and Penguins® Chocolate Covered Popcorn Crunch.

“We are grateful to our nurses and we want to offer a small reminder of the simple joys in life as they continue to fight this pandemic and heal our community,” said Dana Edwards, CEO of the Milk Shake Factory.

Nurses at UPMC have been working around-the-clock treating patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. The chocolate was provided as a ‘thank you’ on National Nurses Day for their hard work and dedication to their jobs not only during these times, but all times.

The Milk Shake Factory and UPMC are both corporate partners of the Penguins.
